About the Inn
History of The Inn at Fernbrook Farms
The Inn dates back to 1750. Purchased in 1890, Fernbrook is home to 3 generations of the Kuser family. If you believe in spirits, feel free to have a chat or cocktails with Tera (the matriarch of Fernbrook), when you are visiting. The Inn has remained the center of warmth and hospitality on the farm for many years. It will forever be a place for friends and family to come together, laugh and share stories.
The Innkeepers
Susie Kuser
Parties and weddings have been her passion for years. With her unique attention to detail and creative style, she can help you create the day you’ve always dreamed of at Fernbrook. You can usually find her in the kitchen testing out a new recipe, walking the grounds with her loveable yellow lab Miss Daisy and reading; always looking for new inspiration and popular trends. If you need her at 5 o’clock, you’ll find her on the couch with Daisy, enjoying a scotch and watching Barefoot Contessa.
Farmer “Q” Kuser
Environmental education, land preservation and sustainable farming are the most important parts of this farmers life. As a teacher for many years at the Princeton Day School, he was able to inspire and motivate children of all ages. Sharing the farm with others, propagating diverse plants and spreading knowledge about the importance of growing locally and eating organic, are just a few of the many experiences he brings to the life of Fernbrook Farm.
